Coronavirus Update For Our Residents and Families:

As many of you are aware, the recent news about the gradual spread of Coronavirus and the surrounding circumstances, both globally and in the community, is a serious concern for the general public.  Therefore, we have decided to release this message about how we are handling the situation.  At Highfield  we are taking extra measures to ensure we continue to provide a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

We are taking extra preventative and practical safety measures to ensure our home, its staff and residents remain safe and Coronavirus free.  We have introduced an intense and regular rota of deep cleaning at our premises and we are maintaining stringent best practice for our staff in respect to personal hygiene and health.

During this critical period, we advise residents families who are currently experiencing any symptoms relating to a Coronavirus infection (such as a fever, coughing or sore throat) to seek medical support from their GP or dial 111, and only enter the building once a medical expert has given them the ALL CLEAR.  This simple process and policy will help safeguard the health of all other residents and staff  and ensure the home remains totally Coronavirus free.  Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
